So I've learned talking to a person every day and having way too many funny moments and covered topics makes shopping for that person 10,394 times harder. I've also learned it's difficult enough to shop for that person when you are by yourself, but when you throw in one of your best friends and a shopping mall full of holiday deals; that 10,394 times increases by 7,492 and you are left with a shopping experience 17,886 times harder than it ever should be. But don't worry eventually the old "third times a charm" phrase actually comes true and on that third day full of shopping you finally find a gift you feel is worthy enough of this very difficult gift receiving friend. Plus after you find this gift and all of your built up frustrations fade away you realize that even though you could only find one perfect gift for your friend, you have found 6 perfect shirts, 2 amazing jackets, 3 pairs of jeans, 7 new tank tops, and one amazingly comfortable pair of sweats with a matching jacket all for yourself and instantly you are the happiest person in the world. Sometimes all you really need are good friends, a spontaneous road trip, large Starbucks hot cocoa and country music for the three of you to rock out to at the top of your lungs <3 Happy holidays!!!

Life in general
Well other than life in Rexburg there isn't much to report, I'm still "very loud and kinda odd" Diana. My absolute best friend in the entire world is My sister Kelsey, who is rarely kind and always cynical, yet she still makes me laugh more than anyone else and supports me constantly when my life tends to crumble.

Lately I've realized that my family is getting old. Yep I said it, we are getting old, every single one of us. This year my two oldest siblings blessed our family with beautiful baby boys
It's still strange for me to think of Andrew and Brandie having families of their own, I never really thought that they would ever grow up but seeing them with their little boys is always the highlights of my visits home. Christie still lives in Florida and is pregnant again and Matthew and Regan are both in school these days. Matthew is still and I'm certain always will be the sweetest boy in the world, and Regan is still and I'm certain always will be the youngest "teenager" I've ever seen. Buddy is engaged and Melissa is graduating from nursing school. Michael is graduating high school and Caitlin is up to five children with her amazing husband Chris. Kels and I are both away for college and we both can't wait to be back home with the rest of the gang. Both sets of my parents are better than ever, basically we are at that stage in life where everything kind of calms down and we finally learn to grow up.
I don't know where I'm going to be in 2 years, or even in 6 months. But I've learned that life is only as exciting as you make it. I choose whether I am going to have an adventure or sit around wishing time would go by faster. Rexburg is a pretty dull town compared to where I've been but I'm on my own and I'm growing up so I'm sure it's going to be a place I never forget.

Life in Rexburg
Tonight my sister Kelsey posted a link to her new blog and I realized it's about time I start to keep up with mine. It's been about a year since I last posted and well my entire life has changed. I lived in Florida until December 2ND when I took a once in a life time road trip with my daddy across America, or the southern parts at least. When we got back to Las Vegas two days later life didn't settle down, I had to pack and plan and prepare (mentally) for a new life in Rexburg Idaho, the polar opposite from both Vegas and Florida. I had no idea what I was getting myself in to but it was my adventure and I was anxious to go. Here I am almost a year later and let me tell you there's not much to report. I'm currently attending Paul Mitchell Hair Academy and living in a two bedroom apartment with three other girls. One of them has weaseled her way into my heart and has become one of my closest friends.
Brianna Marie Evans
With her I've taken some pretty interesting adventures and some amazing late night talks. Living with three girls is a lot harder than I had ever imagined, there is a lot of disagreements and way too many messy bathrooms left to be cleaned. But one thing is for sure there is never a dull moment in 1303. Between chasing Bri around the house or tickling Abbie till she cries. Laughing till your sides hurt and having your neighbors complain about you every few days; life's a blast.
